An unexpected coincidence or event is often the beginning of a new journey-one that touches and improves lives. This is how the Belgian Cancer Fund for Animals came to life, with the mission to support research into the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cancer in animals.

You can read more about the founding of the BCFA on the History page. It all began with the story of Spike, a brave little dog who inspired us to create this cancer fund. From the start we’ve been working together with veterinarians, researchers and countless volunteers to make a difference.
