We are proud that we, as the Belgian Cancer Fund for Animals, were able to facilitate the development of the ONCOWAF website. Our board member Dr. Laetitia Cicchelero, a veterinarian by training, saw during her doctoral thesis that there was a huge need among owners and veterinarians for neutral information about cancer diagnosis and treatments in animals. She developed an independent website that bundles relevant information for these owners.

ONCOWAF is now available in 5 languages, thanks to the help of many voluntary translating veterinarians at home and abroad.

It shows how a small country like Belgium can be great, by having a broad view of the outside world and by working together.

Thanks to your support, we were able to co-finance this project far beyond our national borders and many owners can find information about their animal's disease every day.
